OUR COMPANY HISTORY

For more than 65 years AAA Quality services Inc., AAA Security Inc, and Knight Guard Alarms have been providing quality products and services to businesses and residential customers throughout the Central Valley area. It all started in 1958, when Jay and Viola Faubel opened their first company, AAA Alarm and Lighting Service, which focused on security systems and electrical contracting within the Tulare County area.

Within just a few years the company grew and expanded to the point where they needed to move the business from out of their home to a new location in Visalia, CA. This move allowed the company to expand and diversify its services to also include security guards, security patrols, and fire safety. With the acquisition of other companies and some of their competitors, the company would soon grow to include service areas and offices throughout the central valley area.

Things really began to take off with the addition of the portable restroom company, Potter’s Porta Potties, and then rebranding the company as AAA Quality Services Inc. in 1990. Ever the innovator, Jay added additional services such as fencing, storage containers, special event restrooms, and self-contained luxury restroom trailers—well before his competitors had even entered the market. In less than ten years, Jay had grown the portable restroom business by over ten-fold, eventually acquiring his biggest competitor to become the leading special event solutions provider in the area. With the acquisition of Knight Guard Alarms in 1996, the three corporations of AAA Quality Services Inc, AAA Security Inc, and Knight Guard Alarms were firmly established and continue to this day to be the industry leaders for their products and services to our local area and beyond.

With time also comes change, and most notable of these was the passing of Jay’s wife Viola in 2016. While Jay has since remarried, and while the next generation of family members are now involved in managing the corporations, Jay continues to be active in the day-to-day operations of the three corporations; corporations which he is proud to say provides employment to over 150 people and contributes several million dollars into the local economy and communities within the Central Valley.
